Flipping the Classroom

Use these resources to help you "flip" the classroom. Putting some or all of your instructional content not only saves you time (i.e. repeating the "how" over and over), but maximizes time spent on application in the classroom.

Sample "Flipped" Course

Here is a sample of what a flipped course can look like. Notice that instructional content (i.e. YouTube videos, TED talks, FlashBack Express videos I made on grammar points) are all housed on the learning management system (LMS), Talon. I rarely "taught" anything in class; students were required to access the content before class. Class time was 99% application-focused.
