What does the data suggest?

Of course, I was curious about how this competency-based model impacted student learning, and how it compared to traditional grading systems. In attempt to measure these differences, I conducted two quantitative studies: Quantitative Study 1 looked at if students were more or less likely to be successful at midterm and at the end of the course, and the midterm-final grade relationship. Quantitative Study 2 compared how students who took a class using either traditional or competency-based grading in their subsequent course.
